Hi Lee and I stayed in these bungalows in 2011, for five days we arrived with my brother his wife and two children, from a flight from Norsup via Lamap. Our host was fantastic always helpful, the children had a great time snorkeling canoeing and walking around the island. We loved the Kava ceremony, numerous nakamals (local kava bars) and the final night feast, the trek across the neighbouring island finishing with a hot laplap - which was delicious, was great. We were the only tourists on the island at the time which really gave us a good view of island life. Overalll, the food was great, location lovely and people very friendly. The cost was as discussed and great value for money Damo

We unfortuantely had only 2 nights to stay with Ambong at Malaflaf. We were the only visitors, but the bungalows can accomodate 8 (two one-room bungalows, one two-room bungalow). We paid only 3000Vt/night for the two of us, with meals, which were delicious. The bungalows are on kastom land of Ambong's, so have access to a 'private' bay and reef. Snorkelling is excellent. Ambong was a wonderful host. The island is fantastic - people warm and friendly, and keen to develop their tourism industry. Plenty to do - or a place to relax in a hammock and read by the sea.
